General Terms and Conditions

Short version

By registering for the QualityConnect 2026 conference, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • You must be at least 18 years old to register.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You must pay the registration fee before the conference.
  • You must comply with the code of conduct during the conference.

Long version

Article 1: Definitions

In these General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”), the following definitions apply:

  • Participant – Any legal or natural person attending the QualityConnect event, either personally or as a representative of an employer who purchased the ticket.
  • Organizer / QualityConnect / QC – The website https://qualityconnect.ro, hereinafter referred to as “qualityconnect.ro”, is owned and operated by Andco Solution S.R.L. (hereinafter referred to as “Andco Solution”), with the following company details: Company Registration Number: J12/6380/2017, VAT Number: RO38472280, Registered Address: Str. By checking the box “I accept the terms and conditions”, you confirm your agreement with the present terms that govern the use of the qualityconnect.ro website.

Any additional conditions that a user may wish to impose on these terms and conditions are automatically excluded and will not be recognized by Andco Solution.

Browsing the qualityconnect.ro website followed by placing an order constitutes acknowledgment, understanding, and full acceptance of the terms below by any Customer.

  • Event – The QualityConnect conference, including all related sessions, workshops, tutorials, and activities.
  • Registration / Ticket – The access right granted to the Participant for the specific days and programs selected.

Article 2: General Provisions

  1. These Terms apply to all registrations and participation agreements between QC and the Participant unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
  2. By registering, the Participant fully accepts these Terms.
  3. Participant rights and obligations are non-transferable without written approval from QC.
  4. QC may modify the program, schedule, venue, delivery format (including switching to online or hybrid), speakers, or layout without requiring Participant approval. Such changes do not entitle the Participant to refunds.
  5. The purpose of these Terms is to regulate the organization of the Event by QC and the participation of the Participant.

Article 3: Registration

  1. Registration is completed via the Event website. The Participant receives a confirmation and ticket after QC confirms payment.
  2. Tickets are required for check-in. They are personal and non-transferable except as permitted under Article 5.
  3. QC may refuse participation at its sole discretion.
  4. By registering, the Participant confirms all data is accurate and agrees to comply with these Terms.
  5. Participants must be at least 18 years old. Minors are not permitted to attend.

Article 4: Invoicing and Payment

  1. All fees must be paid in full and in advance. Access to the Event may be denied if full payment is not received.
  2. Payment must be made within 14 days of registration. If payment is not received within this period, QC reserves the right to cancel the registration without notice.
  3. Romanian customers must pay in RON, at the BNR (Romanian National Bank) exchange rate valid on the date of the pro forma invoice.
  4. International customers must pay in EUR.
  5. All prices for products and services sold through the qualityconnect.ro website are expressed in RON or EUR, as specified for each product, and include VAT where applicable.
  6. EU customers with a valid VAT number will receive invoices without VAT (reverse charge mechanism).
  7. All bank or transfer fees are the responsibility of the Participant.
  8. QC is not responsible for:
    • Visa rejections,
    • Entry restrictions,
    • Travel interruptions.

No refunds are granted in such cases.

Article 5: Cancellation and Ticket Transfers

  1. Participant cancellations are not permitted. No refunds will be issued, except if required by mandatory law.
  2. Ticket transfers:
    • Free of charge if requested at least 4 weeks before the Event.
    • EUR 30 transfer fee if requested 2–4 weeks before the Event.
    • No transfers allowed within 2 weeks prior to the Event.
  3. Ticket resale or offering tickets via third-party marketplaces (e.g., reseller platforms, auction sites) is strictly prohibited.
  4. QC may cancel or reschedule a workshop or tutorial when necessary. QC will:
    • Offer an equivalent replacement where possible, or
    • Refund only the affected workshop/tutorial fee if no replacement is acceptable to the Participant.
  5. QC is not liable for travel, accommodation, or other external costs related to cancellations or changes.

Article 6: Tutorials and Workshops

  1. Workshop and tutorial allocations are finalized prior to the Event.
  2. Same-day changes require explicit approval from both QC and the workshop/tutorial speaker.
  3. All Participants are fully responsible for installing and preparing the required technical prerequisites for participation. QC is not liable for incompatibilities, failed installations, or any technical issues encountered during workshops or tutorials.

Article 7: Program Changes

  1. QC may modify the program at any time. No refunds apply.
  2. If a speaker withdraws more than 2 weeks prior to the Event:
    • QC will attempt to provide a suitable replacement.
    • Participants will be informed and asked to reconfirm their attendance.
  3. If a speaker withdraws with short notice (medical emergencies, personal crises, etc.):
    • QC may leave the session slot empty.
    • Participants may choose among other available sessions.
  4. No refunds apply for changes to the main conference schedule.

Article 8: Marketing and Promotion

  1. Participants may not distribute promotional materials or advertise without written permission from QC.

Article 9: Recruitment Activities

  1. Recruitment activities are prohibited unless approved in writing by QC.

Article 10: Recording Policy

  1. Participants may not make video, audio, or screen recordings of any content without written consent from QC and/or the speaker.

Article 11: Intellectual Property

  1. QC owns all intellectual property rights related to the Event’s organization and branding.
  2. Technical content belongs to the respective speakers.
  3. Sponsor materials belong to the respective sponsors.
  4. Reproduction or distribution of Event content is prohibited without prior authorization.

Article 12: Liability

  1. QC is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
  2. Participants are liable for damages caused intentionally or negligently to QC, the venue, or other participants.
  3. QC is not liable for:
    • personal injury unless caused by QC’s proven gross negligence,
    • financial losses arising from cancellations or schedule changes,
    • any force majeure situations.
  4. Liability Cap: QC’s maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the Participant for their ticket.

Article 13: Personal Data Protection

  1. Participants consent to QC storing their name and email for Event communications and newsletters.
  2. QC will not sell or disclose personal data to third parties except when legally required.
  3. Participants may unsubscribe at any time via the email footer link.

Article 14: Photography and Filming

  1. QC may photograph and film the Event for documentation and promotional use.
  2. Participants acknowledge that their image may appear in such materials.
  3. Participants who do not wish to appear must inform QC in writing before the Event and avoid areas designated for filming.

Article 15: Code of Conduct

  1. All attendees must adhere to the Code of Conduct.
  2. Harassment of any kind is strictly prohibited.
  3. QC may remove any Participant violating the Code without refund.
  4. Participants may report concerns to staff, who will assist as necessary.

Article 16: Force Majeure

  1. QC is not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to: natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemics, epidemics, military conflict, government restrictions, venue closures, strikes, utility failures, or any circumstances beyond QC’s reasonable control.
  2. In case of force majeure, QC may:
    • reschedule the Event,
    • relocate it,
    • convert it to online/hybrid format,
    • without entitling the Participant to a refund.

Article 17: Termination

  1. The agreement terminates automatically one day after the Event concludes.
  2. The agreement may also be terminated by mutual consent or force majeure.
